Why extraction is the biggest lever in the building
Drying is the most expensive thing a laundromat does. Every pound of water that leaves in the spin is a pound the burner does not have to evaporate — and gas, unlike rent, scales directly with how wet the laundry is when it reaches the dryer.
What 200g actually means
G-force is the centrifugal force at the cylinder wall, expressed as multiples of gravity. A 100g machine leaves roughly 70% retained moisture by dry weight; a 200g machine leaves closer to 55%. That difference typically cuts 15–25% off dry time.
The second benefit nobody models
Shorter dry cycles free the dryer sooner, so the same wall serves more customers on a busy Saturday. That is revenue, not just cost — and on a constrained floor it is often worth more than the gas.
