Why the wash-to-dry ratio decides the store
A laundromat fails at the dryer wall, not the washer wall. If dry capacity trails wash capacity, customers finish washing and then queue — and the queue is what they remember. The working target is dry capacity at 105–115% of wash capacity, because 200g extraction leaves loads dry enough that dryers run shorter cycles but customers still want a machine free the moment they need one.
Where stack dryers earn their price
A BTT stack puts two independent pockets in the width of one machine. On a width-limited wall that is the difference between a balanced floor and a permanent bottleneck — which is why the optimizer defaults to stacks.
Turns per day is the honest number
Four turns per machine per day is a healthy performing store. Six is a very busy one. If your model needs seven to work, the model is wrong, not the market.
